Steve has developed and taught curriculum for many electrical training courses as well as university business and leadership courses. He completed a Bachelors degree in Technical Education at DSU and a Masters Degree in Administrative Studies at USD.  Steve is licensed in SD as an Electrical Contractor, Master Electrician, and Electrical Inspector.   Steve now provides electrician continuing education Code Classes in South Dakota, Wyoming and surrounding states through his own company, Arne Electro Tech. He also edits electrical training books and materials for Electrical Code Expert Mike Holt.     Steve is a newly appointed member of the SD Electrical Commission representing electrical education. He is active in the SD Electrical Council, and has served on the State Board as well as the Board of the Black Hills Chapter.   Steve and Deb Arne live in Rapid City, South Dakota where they?re both active in their church and community, and love to spend time with their children and grandchildren. Steve and Deb both endeavor to put God first in their lives and in their home.

Instructor Resume: Jeff Larus Jeff has been involved in the electrical field for over 30 years. He is currently working on his 23rd year as an electrical inspector for the City of Rapid City. Jeff is an International Code Council Certified Combination Inspector and an Electrical and Mechanical Plans Examiner. He holds both a Plumbing and Mechanical Inspection certification from the International Association of Mechanical and Plumbing Officials. Jeff holds an Electrical Inspector, Journeyman Electrician, Emergency Medical Technician, Fire Firefighter I and Rescue Technician. Certification, all from the State of South Dakota. Jeff was honored with being able to participate as on one of Mike Holt?s Video Panel Members during his 2008 filming?s. Jeff was honored with the Western Dakota Tech?s Distinguished Alumni Award in May 0f 2010. Jeff is Currently President of the Black Hills Chapter of the South Dakota Electrical Council and the Vice President of the South Dakota Electrical Council.
