| Course Outline & Objectives: | This course is based on the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI) Analysis of Changes in the 2017 NEC. It will be presented using the IAEI PowerPoint derived from the Analysis of Changes book. It is intended to provide information on the most significant changes that are in the 2017 NEC that has been proposed for adoption in Utah. It will also address the current 2014 NEC and how the new rules will be different. Participants will learn about current rules and how they are proposed to change. This course will use the 2014 or the 2017 NEC for reference. It will also provide background on changes for those who wish to support or oppose the adoption of specific requirements by the State of Utah. |
