Instructor Resume: Jarrett Moe is a seasoned architect and talented designer at Method Studio. Additionally, he serves as adjunct Instructor at the University of Utah ? College of Architecture and Planning. He brings 14 years experience and has been with Method Studio for 2 years. His interest lies in site-specific, sustainable design and architecture with strong expression of place and time. His portfolio includes cultural, commercial and residential projects and his current work deals specifically with a variety of sustainable projects. He is currently working with Park City Municipal Corporation on several Net Zero Energy projects. Jarrett also has extensive experience in both research and construction of insulated Rammed Earth and Mass Timber building technologies. Recent projects also include the Utah Olympic Park Ski Jump Feasibility study, the Kimball Art Center, The Marq Multi-Family Shipping Container Housing and a cross laminated mass timber prototype office building project in Salt Lake City. Instructor Resume: Rob Beishline is an award-winning designer with his primary focus on the design of public sector buildings including libraries, community centers, senior centers, government buildings, fire stations, and public higher education projects. He is highly respected by his clients and a strong, detailed leader who works collaboratively with client and his team to develop contextually based design solutions. He often works closely with city and community councils, facilitating public outreach, and navigating political environments in order to realize his projects. Rob has the unique ability to listen and build trust with these entities, while championing a rigorous design approach. In his first project as a licensed architect, he was able to exceed the building?s LEED Gold goal, by designing and facilitating LEED Platinum certification. This was done within the project?s original budget, and demonstrated tremendous leadership in working closely with the building?s owner and occupants to exceed expectations. To this day, the project is the only LEED Platinum building owned by Salt Lake County. Rob?s commitments to a sustainably built environment are further shown in his work as the lead designer on Salt Lake City?s Fire Station 14, which finished construction in 2018. It is on track to become the first net-zero energy fire station the state, and one of only two known net zero fire stations in the country. Since then he has worked on multiple sustainable buildings and Net Zero projects throughout the state. Rob has been with Method Studio for five years and serves as Principal in the firm.

Instructor Resume: Robert Hooper with Safety West Consulting is a busy man who for the past 12 years has provided onsite training in OSHA 10 & 30 hour, DPR/First Aid, Emergency First Responder, Hazmat Response and Operations, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Suppression and Prevention. In his ?spare? time, he is known as Battalion Chief Rob Hooper for St George Fire Department. He has worked there since 2003 and oversees Emergency Medical Services Division and the daily activities of engine crew and acts as Incident Commander in the absence of a Chief Officer. He is a members of High Angle Rescue and Hazardous Materials Southwest Regional Response Team. Rob was also Acting Field Supervisor for 911 EMS Response Agency and oversaw operations for up to 7 ambulances, provide patient care for sick and injured patients, interact with receiving facility and physicians. Rob enjoys spending time with his wife Melissa and 2 beautiful daughters. He is also a talented photographer of our beautiful area in which we live.
