Vehicle owners who need additional time for vehicle repairs or meeting emissions and/or safety requirements may opt to obtain a 15-day temporary permit. Temporary permits can be obtained at https://secure.utah.gov/temp-permits/index.html. To obtain a temporary permit you will be required to pay your registration fees up front, along with a $6.00 temporary permit fee.
