Course Name:Understanding Davis-Bacon Wage Projects and Certified Payroll Reports
Course Outline & Objectives:Objective - Participants understanding Davis-Bacon regulations / laws and how to apply them to required Davis-Bacon contract language for construction contracts, certfifed payroll reports, Statement of Compliance and other back up documentation. Objective - Participants understanding how to complete a Statement of Compliance and certified payroll report per the Davis-Bacon regulations AND additional information a general contractor may require on your certified payroll reports. Additional documentation that is not required by Davis-Bacon regulations, but is in your best interest to maintain. Identifying "red flags" on certified payrolls submittals. Objective - Participants understanding how and when to submit a wage conformance, with documentation to prevent under paying employees on federally funded construction projects. Understanding other safeguards to prevent under paying employees on a federally funded construction project.
