| Course Outline & Objectives: | This course will review the 2015 International Plumbing
Code changes related to grease interceptors, garbage disposals,
thermostatic mixing valves and thermal expansions. We will also
review seismic bracing and axial movement restraints. Attendees
can also expect to briefly discuss bathroom groups and waste stack
vents in drain-waste-vent systems.
Additionally, we will also discuss mechanical code for dryer vents
and exhaust systems along with some chapter 6 International
Mechanical Code duct installations and damper requirements.
Additional topics include: common code violations and concerns,
new codes or rules being called out commercial occupancies, and
multi-story residential construction. |
