Course Name: | Changes to the 2017 NEC |
Course Outline & Objectives: | This 16-hour course will cover significant changes to the 2017 edition of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Because professionals need to stay up to date on the latest code changes, this training will cover the theory, code, and practical applications of the NEC. This course is designed to help contractors, electricians, engineers, and inspectors better understand how changes to the 2017 NEC impacts the safe design, installation, maintenance, and inspection of electrical systems.
Some of the changes to be covered include general applications, wiring & protection, wiring methods & materials, equipment for general use, special occupancies, special equipment, special conditions, communication systems, and tables. This course will consist of a live seminar and attendee participation. |
