I publish weekly blog articles about new apps and how to solve workflows in the construction industry. Podcaster: I am a member of the ConTechCrew podcast. Each week we interview a software developer or user about how technology can improve various workflows. Construction Tech Roadshow: I deliver presentations to local construction trade associations implement Technology Committees and host events focused on new construction technology. Consulting: I assist general contractors and subcontractors who are interested in using apps and software and to improve their process and deliver a higher level of service to their clients. I have served as Chairman of the AGC Georgia Technology Committee. This committee is dedicated to educating members about new technology apps, hardware and software that can be used on construction projects. I have also served on the AGC IT Forum Steering Committee to help plan the annual technology conference. My past experience includes Safety Management, Quality Control, and Training. I also created and managed a Mobile Device Program. This program was designed to assist construction companies with completing safety inspection, quality checklist and punch list on tablets and smartphones. In addition, I have served as the Chairman of the AGC GA Branch Safety & Health Committee. As Chairman of the Committee I have helped organize the yearly safety awards event and led the efforts of the Safety Stand Downs by developing the power point slide presentations.
