Instructor Resume: Mark T. Woolley is the founder, President and CEO of Buildtec Solutions. His career has spanned more than 30 years in the built environment arena and is a fifth-generation homebuilder. Positions he has held include Construction Manager, Operations Manager, General Manager, Director of Operations, Vice President of Construction and President. His leadership responsibilities have ranged from community design and land planning, the entitlement process, product type and feature selection, human resources, training, purchasing, operations, production, marketing and sales, warranty and customer relations, construction forensic analysis and services to recognized industry expert. Mark is active in his community having served as the chair of the Economic Development Council, Citizens Task Force on HOA/PUD communities and as a member of the Planning Commission in South Jordan, Utah. He served on multiple local and state government affairs committees, is a past president of the Salt Lake Home Builders Association, and sits on its governing board as a life member. He spent a number of years as a board member of the Home Builders Association of Utah as well as being a past director for the National Association of Home Builders. His peers awarded him the Golden Hammer Award in 2003 and recognized him as the Builder of the Year in 2005 for his service in the building industry. Mark is a certified trainer with the University of Housing and is a frequent presenter and speaker at industry events. He holds the Master Certified Green Professional, Certified Graduate Builder, and Certified New Home Sales Professional designations with the National Association Home Builders. He has been involved in leadership of youth groups in his community for the past 38 years, along with serving in community leadership capacities and volunteering for multiple charities and foundations.
