Instructor Resume: | Ryan Curtin is the Construction Storm Water Program Coordinator. He has been with DEQ since January 2019. Prior to taking over the construction program, Ryan assisted in the Municipal, Industrial, and Construction Programs at DWQ. Before joining DEQ, Ryan worked on the Storm Water team at UDOT, and worked to implement MS4 permits in Los Angeles and Orange County in California for four years before moving to Utah. He has a Bachelor of Sciences from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Earth Sciences with a minor in Soil Science. |

Instructor Resume: | Jeanne Riley is the Manager of the Utah Division of Water Quality's General Permitting Section
which regulates the state's Construction and Industrial sites and municipal storm water programs. Prior to her position as a regulator, Ms. Riley spent 15 years as an environmental consultant, where she assisted private and public sector clients comply with their permit requirements and implement water quality improvement projects. Ms. Riley holds Civil and Environmental Engineering Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the University of Massachusetts.

Instructor Resume: | Todd Christensen works as Assistant City Engineer for Bountiful City where he has been for nearly 20 years. He attended Snow College then transferred to BYU, graduating with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He has coordinated the city?s Stormwater Management Program since 2008 and has served as Chair of the Davis County Stormwater Coalition and the Utah Stormwater Advisory Committee. He has served on other various stormwater committees working on projects such as developing a construction BMP manual, writing templates for Standard Operating Procedures, and producing outreach brochures for businesses. He is a Registered Stormwater Inspector (RSI) and a Registered SWPPP Writer (RSW). |
