Steve Arne has worked in various positions in the electrical industry since 1974, including electrician, electrical contractor, and full-time instructor and department chair in technical postsecondary education. Steve has developed and taught curriculum for many electrical training courses as well as university business and leadership courses. He completed a Bachelors degree in Technical Education at DSU and a Masters Degree in Administrative Studies at USD. Steve is licensed in SD as an Electrical Contractor, Master Electrician, and Electrical Inspector.
Steve now provides electrician continuing education Code Classes in South Dakota, Wyoming and surrounding states through his own company, Arne Electro Tech. He also edits electrical training books and materials for Electrical Code Expert Mike Holt.
Steve is a newly appointed member of the SD Electrical Commission representing electrical education. He is active in the SD Electrical Council, and has served on the State Board as well as the Board of the Black Hills Chapter.
Steve and Deb Arne live in Rapid City, South Dakota where they?re both active in their church and community, and love to spend time with their children and grandchildren. Steve and Deb both endeavor to put God first in their lives and in their home. |
