| Course Outline & Objectives: | This class covers one of the more difficult concepts of the National Electrical Code?conductor sizing and overcurrent protection. The properties of various conductors found in Article 310 are discussed, as well as the requirements for ampacity correction and adjustment. The requirements in NEC Articles 240, 440, and 430 for overcurrent protection of conductors, general equipment, air-conditioners, motors, feeder taps, and transformer secondary conductors are discussed in great detail. |
