| Course Outline & Objectives: | This class is intended to introduce simple techniques that allows students identify and locate various NEC sections. Students will be taught to categorize and locate requirements based on the "General", "Plan", "Build" and "Use" concepts of Codeology and the NEC. This course will familiarize students with the NEC and give them the skills and confidence to make code compliant installations that are safe and accurate.
This class will cover the following topics:
1. Codeology Fundamentals
2. The COdeology method: Fundamentals and the "General" Chapter of the NEC.
3. "Plan" Wiring and Protection
4. "Build" Wiring Methods and Materials
5."Use" Equipment for General Use
6. "Special" NEC Chapters 5,6 and 7
7. NEC Chapter 8 - Communications
9. NEC Chapter - Tables and Information Annexes. |
