Course Outline & Objectives:This is a previously approved course that has been updated to current edition of NFPA 70E. This course will meet the requirement for 70E training as part of the continuing education requirement for Utah electrician licensing. It may be offered as an 8 hour or 4 hour course and may be combined with other approved courses to meet the entire 16 hour requirement. It will cover the requirements for an electrical safety program, the requirements for creating an electrically safe work condition, and the requirements for protection from electric shock and arc flash hazards when an electrically safe work condition has not been established. The 8-hour version will include some of the requirements from Chapters 2 and 3 for maintenance and special types of equipment. It may be presented live in-person or live online.
Course Schedule No dates have been established. This course will be offered primarily to groups who wish to sponsor training for their members or others.
