Course Outline & Objectives:MSHA requires that all miners and mining contractors complete a minimum of 8 hours of Annual Refresher training per year. While your Annual Refresher training must cover changes at the mine that are specific to your location, this training will prepare you for MSHA Part 46 compliance. Class will consist of but not be limited to the following topics: Mandatory Health and Safety Standards Transportation, Controls and Communication Systems Escape and Emergency Evacuation; fire warning & fire fighting Ground Control: working areas of high walls, water hazards, pits and spoil banks, illumination and night work First Aid Electrical Hazards Prevention of Accidents Health Explosives Self-Rescue and Respiratory Devices
