Instructor Resume: | Chris is the founder of HR Pros, a network of HR consultants that provide elastic on-demand HR services to small and mid-sized companies nationwide. Over the past decade he has trained thousands of consultants, managers and HR generalists while supporting companies throughout the United States on complex HR, benefits and regulatory compliance issues. Chris focuses on limiting employer liability through compliance with relevant employment laws, the development and implementation of effective policies and ongoing reinforcement of best practices through supervisor and employee training. Chris is a recognized authority on the Affordable Care Act, having provided his first online training session regarding the sweeping law only two weeks after its passage in 2010. Sinice that time Chris has conducted numerous webinars, seminars and training courses to diverse audiences on the intricacies of the ACA.
Chris earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in anthropolgy. As a graduate student at the same institution Chris was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, an honor reserved for the top performing students at the highest ranked business programs worldwide. A scholar of both business and the social sciences, Chris applies methods from disciplines such as anthropology, linguistics and psychology to business problems. He is currently engaged in insider threat research which seeks to help organizations identify high risk individuals prior to an incident. His most recently published work explores the use of automated psycholinguistic analysis to identify individuals within an organization who demonstrate troubling behavioral or personality characterisitcs. Organizations may then use this data to coach, counsel or more closely monitor high risk individuals. |
