He has far-reaching experience in property law with an extended knowledge and understanding of community association law and foreclosure law. He is licensed in Arizona and Utah where his primary practice focuses on representation of community associations offering general counsel, litigation defense, drafting and interpretation of governing documents, and covenant enforcement. He also practices in collections and general real estate where his experience includes quieting title, resolving boundary disputes, and drafting and defending easements. Prior to practicing law, Scott worked in the offices of a major developer in the Phoenix metropolitan area and at the Arizona State Legislature. His time at the state legislature gave him experience analyzing legislation, organizing people and gaining financial support and public endorsement for groups and causes. As a law student, he interned for the City of Tucson, where he worked on projects for the economic development department that involved zoning, land use, and eminent domain. In 2009, Scott accepted a position for a real-estate law firm where his primary area of practice was general real estate law. After four years of practicing in Arizona, he and his wife moved to Lehi, Utah where he opened a practice that focused on community association Law.
