Course Outline & Objectives: | 2020 NEC Codebook and a Calculator Required for This Class: Part 1 Grounding and Bonding. This course teaches participants the how and why of these two functions of grounding and bonding. It also examines grounding and bonding in virtually every several Code articles in addition to the major requirements of Article 250. Covered are the most commonly used tables in Article 250 including grounding and bonding on the line and load side of services and proper sizing of bonding and grounding conductors. Important changes to the current addition of the NEC are discussed. Case studies for typical electrical installations including methods for grounding and bonding seperately derived systems are covered. |
