Instructor Resume: Steve Scoggan, a partner at The Leverich Group CPA’s, has been with the firm since 1995. He provides accounting, tax and management consulting services to privately held construction contractors and other industries. He has extensive hands-on experience in coaching and assisting owners in dealing with complex accounting, management, organization, personnel and motivational challenges. Steve’s specialty is helping companies deal with the issues and details related to growth, or in recent years, shrinkage.  He assists company management with tax and financial planning, banking and bonding, as well as assisting in the training of company financial personnel. Steve enjoys the dynamics of small and medium size businesses, and has experience helping clients obtain credit, plan for succession, or prepare for sale. Prior to joining the firm, Steve co-owned and managed a family multi-operation business. Steve graduated with honors from California State University, Los Angeles with a bachelor's degree in business administration with an accounting option. Steve gained experience with a large national CPA firm in Los Angeles and New York City. Steve has resided in Park City, Utah since 1988.
