| Course Outline & Objectives: | This eight-hour course meets the Utah requirement for licensed electricians continuing education credits. This course will cover changes in the national and state codes, including additions, deletions, and highlights of the most pertinent and commonly encountered changes. Attendees will also review the many areas of the code that have recurring misunderstandings like termination limitation, wire sizing, motor ground fault, and short circuit calculations. One hour of the class will discuss the Utah Energy Conservation code as it relates to electrical lighting and heating in both residential and commercial buildings. |
