Course Objectives: This course is designed to cover the introduction and applicability
of the NEC, as discussed in 90.1 and 90.2. Enforcement, Code layout, and examination are
also discussed in Article 90. The majority of the class is focused on Article 110, which contains
the general requirements of the Code. Topics include product examination and listing,
interrupting ratings and short-circuit current ratings, terminations, arc-flash warnings, marking
requirements, working space, and several others. This class was created due to my realizing
that very few people in the industry spend time in Article 90, which is critical to understanding
the Code. Article 110 isn't quite as neglected, but it contains some of the most important
requirements in the Code is well worth mastering.
