Instructor Resume: Mr. Searle has worked in the Electrical Industry since 1981. Mr. Searle attended the Electrical Automation Program which is now known as the Electrical Automation and Robotic Technology (EART) program. He passed his Journeyman electrician test in 1987 and his Master Electrician test in 1990. Mr. Searle has extensive experience in industrial, commercial, and residential projects. He has been the project manager and lead on numerous projects and also uses both his electrical and data skills as a Registered Communication Distribution[1] Designer (RCDD). Mr. Searle currently manages electrical projects, assists with installs, provides estimates, leads out on arc flash study data collection, and assists with electrical safety training courses. He also teaches courses in industrial motors, motor controls, and the National Electrical Code. He assists clients with preventative maintenance via inspections, thermal imaging, power monitoring, and transformer oil sampling. Mr. Searle is well versed in the electrical and control field and understands the importance of safety and wearing the proper PPE for the task at hand.

Instructor Resume: Mr. Bird is a professional electrical engineer and has successfully completed numerous projects in industrial power systems and automation. He has performed numerous power system studies for industrial facilities including load flow, short circuit, protective device coordination, and arc flash. He worked directly for power companies, control system integrators, and an engineering design firm prior to forming EEAT. Mr. Bird leads out on electrical engineering, PLC programming, training courses, and power system studies. Mr. Bird received his AAS degree in Electrical Automation & Robotics Technology from UVU, a BS degree in electrical engineering from Brigham Young University, and an MS degree in electrical power engineering from the University of Idaho. He teaches courses in electrical safety, arc flash, PLC programming, and power systems to industry professionals and students at Utah Valley University.
