Description: This 8-hour course delves into the essential principles of grounding and bonding within electrical systems. It is tailored for journeyman electricians aiming to enhance their knowledge and skills in these critical safety and compliance areas.
Format: Classroom-based instruction supported by PowerPoint presentations, including discussions and a Q&A session.
Objectives:
? Understand and apply grounding and bonding techniques according to the latest codes and standards.
? Ensure enhanced safety and system reliability in electrical installations.
Audience: Journeyman electricians seeking continuing education credits for licensure renewal.
Materials Needed: Participants should bring their own relevant electrical code books.
Schedule: Offered in Spring 2024, Summer 2024, Spring 2025, and Spring 2026 at Idaho State University Campus and Simplot Facility in Pocatello, Idaho.
