Instructor: Todd Wilding, Idaho Electrical Journeyman, State Inspector for the State of Idaho
Description: This 8-hour course offers a comprehensive update on the transitions from the NEC 2020 Code to the NEC 2023 Code. It is designed for journeyman electricians who need to stay current with the latest electrical standards for maintaining their licensure.
Format: Classroom-based lecture enhanced by PowerPoint presentations, complemented by extensive discussions and a Q&A session.
Objectives: To educate participants about the major updates in the NEC 2023 Code, focusing on their application for compliance, safety, and efficiency.
Audience: Journeyman electricians seeking continuing education credits.
Materials Needed: Participants need to bring their copy of the NEC 2023 Code.
Schedule: Scheduled for Spring 2024, Summer 2024, Spring 2025, and Spring 2026 at Idaho State University Campus and Simplot Facility, Pocatello, Idaho.
Assessment: Through interactive class discussions and Q&A.
