| Course Outline & Objectives: | Will cover best practices and examples from projects where pre-cooling measures, moisture controls, mixture adjustments, and admixture technologies have been implemented to reduce adverse effects to the concrete under hot, drying conditions.
Upon completing this program the participant should be able to:
1. Identify when hot weather conditions may be occurring.
2. Review the specification as to what is required.
3. Learn how to control slump loss in hot weather
4. Adjust the mix as required for hot weather.
5. Testing requirement for hot Weather concrete
