To provide an understanding of the importance of backflow prevention in piping installations and the methods available to ensure proper protection against backflow.
Description
This class provides explanations of the importance of backflow prevention and provides descriptions of scenarios where backflow can occur. This course covers IPC Section 608 on backflow prevention and chapter 8 on indirect waste, with explanations of methods used to prevent backflow and descriptions of the assemblies, devices and methods used in installations.
