Instructor Resume: | Thomas Hicken is an instructor for Bridgerland Technical College in Logan Utah where he has taught the plumbing apprenticeship since 2008. He has also taught numerous Plumber Continuing Education classes for Journeyman and Master Plumbers. He had his start in the plumbing trade in 2001 and has years of experience in commercial new construction, residential new construction and service plumbing giving him a well-rounded view of the trade and the applications of plumbing code. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix in 2006, earned his Master Plumber license in 2008 and started his own plumbing business in 2010. He knows the challenges and successes of business ownership. Thomas is committed to improving understanding of plumbing code, and ensuring the trade has qualified workers going into the future. |
