It is designed for journeyman electricians who need to stay current with the latest electrical standards for maintaining their licensure. Format: Classroom-based lecture enhanced by PowerPoint presentations, complemented by extensive discussions and a Q&A session. Objectives: To educate participants about the major updates in the NEC 2023 Code, focusing on their application for compliance, safety, and efficiency. Audience: Journeyman electricians seeking continuing education credits. Materials Needed: Participants need to bring their copy of the NEC 2023 Code. Schedule: Scheduled for Spring 2026, Spring/Winter 2027, and Spring/Winter 2028 at Idaho State University Campus and Simplot Facility, Pocatello, Idaho. Assessment: Through interactive class discussions and Q&A. Certification: A certificate of completion will be issued at the end of the course.
