| Course Outline & Objectives: | Gain the financial knowledge and tools needed to successfully manage the business side of a construction company. This course covers business entity selection, tax obligations, financial statements, cost analysis, profitability, financial ratios, recordkeeping, and financial planning, with a special emphasis on construction-specific cash flow management. Participants will learn how to understand and use financial information, calculate margins and break-even points, manage project costs, schedule progress payments, improve invoicing practices, and plan cash flow to meet payroll, subcontractor, equipment, and other business obligations. The course is designed to help construction business owners and managers make informed financial decisions and build a stronger, more financially sustainable business. |
