- Legacy Towing is located just north of the Humane Society. The entrance to the office is on the north west side of the parking lot.
To release your vehicle, you will need to follow these steps:
- Step 1, Go to tow company/impound yard and provide proof of identity and Letter(s) of Impound Release
- Step 2, Pay the towing and storage fees
IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS REGARDING THE IMPOUND ACTION or the fees or penalties imposed for titling, registration, etc., please contact the Tax Commission at (801) 297- 7780 or 1-800-368-8824. Any criminal proceedings originated by law enforcement related to the impounded vehicle are separate from the impound action by the Tax Commission.
IF YOU DISAGREE WITH TOWING AND STORAGE FEES, you must contact the impound yard or towing company. The Department of Transportation has regulatory authority over towing and storage fees.
FAILURE TO CLAIM YOUR VEHICLE within 30 days may result in the sale of this vehicle at public auction. (Utah Code Section 41-1a-1103)
