| Course Outline & Objectives: | This 8-hour course will cover important changes in the 2016 edition of the National
Electrical Code (NEC). Because electrical professionals need to stay up to date on the latest code changes, this training will help attendees better understand the theory, code, and practical applications of the first four (4) chapters of the NEC. The course is designed to help contractors, electricians, plumbers better understand how changes to the 2016 NEC impacts the safe design, installation, maintenance, and inspection of electrical systems. Some of the 2016 NEC changes to be covered during the course include general changes, wiring and protection, wiring methods and materials, and equipment for general use.
