Course Outline & Objectives:Most project managers know the nuts and bolts of how to put together a CPM schedule for their projects, but many don't realize it is one of the most important tools of great project management. This session dives into the strategies you can use to well document your position with a general contractor in order to defend yourself from late changes in a project that can have severe impacts on your productivity. This session uses a real-world project to have the attendees work in groups to apply these principles.

Instructor Resume: Dr. Blake Wentz has a Bachelor's degree in Finance and a Master's degree in Engineering from the University of Nebraska and a PhD from Indiana State University. He owned and operated his family's mechanical contracting business before becoming a college professor. Dr. Wentz was named the Dean of the College of Engineering at Califorina State University in July 2020 and is currently serving in that role.
