| Course Outline & Objectives: | Part 1. National Electrical Code Health Care Systems. Electrical wiring installations in health care facilities call for a careful and focused approach to electrical installation. Healthcare requires use of redundant electrical power systems and electrical devices, medical appliances, and other special equipment used for protection of patients. It is important installers understand electrical wiring in general, including the wiring in health care facilities, be installed to meet the requirements of all applicable safety codes and standards. This course will discuss the general installation methods and materials used to meet the associated Code rules, to provide understanding of power systems necessary to operate a health care facility."
