| Course Outline & Objectives: | National Electrical Code Fire Alarm Installations Fire alarm systems are unique and complex systems that require a high level of worker expertise. This course will develop an understanding of fire alarm systems, how they work and how they should be installed in compliance with the National Electrical Code. Fire alarm systems are designed and installed to protect people and property. Because these systems involve life safety, fire alarm systems must be treated much differently than other building systems. Fire alarm systems have special installation codes and design criteria. This course will provide installers the understanding of the essential code installation requirements for fire alarm systems and appreciate the relationship between good workmanship and reliable systems.
