| Course Outline & Objectives: | National Electrical Code Communications Systems -- Review of National Electrical Code Chapter 8
Communications installation requirements are important for all installers. Based on the National Electrical Code this unique class will explore the basics of Communications Systems. Article 800 will cover communications circuits. Article 810 will cover Radio and Television Equipment. Article 820 will cover Community Antenna Television and Radio Distribution Systems. Article 830 will cover Network Powered Broadband Communications Systems and article 840 will cover Premises Powered Broadband Communications Systems. Students will receive instructional booklet and handouts applicable to course information. |
