Logo Usage Guidelines
You must be approved by and enter into an agreement with the Utah Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and Utah.gov before use of the "on the SPOT" logo. If you do not maintain this agreement, or the agreement has expired or is terminated, you must immediately discontinue use of the Logo. The power of the Logo lies in its consistent and appropriate use. Any usage outside of these guidelines dilutes the effectiveness of the Logo and makes it more difficult to defend our rights to the service mark. The following guidelines explain how the Logo for the on the SPOT program is to be used. The DMV and Utah.gov reserve the right to change or modify the Logo and/or these Guidelines at any time at its discretion. Members shall comply with the Guidelines as amended from time to time.
- The Logo is owned by the DMV and Utah.gov and all uses of the Logo inure to the benefit of the on the SPOT program. You are not permitted to use the Logo to disparage on the SPOT, the DMV, or Utah.gov.
- You may not combine the Logo with any other object, including, but not limited to, other logos, icons, words, graphics, photos, slogans, numbers, design features, or symbols.
- You may use the Logo only as provided by Utah.gov. Except for size, which is subject to the restrictions in these guidelines, the Logo may not be altered in any manner, including proportions, colors, elements, etc., or animated, morphed, or otherwise distorted in perspective or dimensional appearance.
- The Logo may not be translated or otherwise localized into any other language.
- You may use the logo for the following:
- Marketing materials (newspaper advertisement, direct mail, television, or web advertisement)
- Web site
- Business cards
- Letterhead
