What Is SCR?
The State Construction Registry helps keep property owners informed when the parties who supply services, materials and/or equipment to a construction project have filed a notice on their property. Filings can ensure parties get paid and the property remains lien free.
Search For Your Home
Contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers file notices on the SCR to show that they are working on your home. These notices allow you to make sure those who have filed are paid promptly for their work. Unfortunately, sometimes payments don’t make it to everyone.
- It is free to view filings.
- You can search the SCR to find any filings on your property.
- Only parties who have filed a Preliminary Notice on your property have the right to file a lien.
